A Passion Checklist
Would you use any of these adjectives to describe any aspect of your life: intense, impassioned, ardent, fervent, zealous, vehement, fiery, heated, feverish, emotional, heartfelt, eager, excited, animated, spirited, vigorous, strong, energetic, messianic, fanatical, frenzied, wild, fierce, consuming, violent, tumultuous, flaming, raging, burning, uncontrollable, ungovernable. These are definitions of being passionate. They are all very positive and certainly uplifting. I think it should be your duty to use at least one of these every day of your life. The exciting thing is, that for each of us individually, these adjectives can refer to totally different experiences, thoughts or actions. I might be eager to wake up early and start the day meeting friends for a morning run, while you would prefer to get up later and spend the morning playing with your pets.
We are all unique in our personalities and characters and this is what makes life so wonderfully exciting. If you are inspired to be incredibly passionate, it is contagious and will inspire others to be incredible as well.
I am not saying you need to be incredibly energetic and upbeat every minute of every day. Life does happen and throws you curve balls every now and then. I would maintain that you should know what you are passionate about and live your life according to that. Your essence or your underlying current should be about your unique sense of strong and compelling emotions. Then, your everyday life, your job, your hobbies, your relationships should slot in around that. Have you found out what you are passionate about? Are you living within your passion? Do you associate with people who value or accept your passion? Are you strong enough to live passionately, or does everyday life get in the way? How do you get back on track if you have lost your passion? Are you brave enough to live with passion? Sit back, analyse and identify your passion. Take action, be brave enough to live it. Live your life, love your Life. If nothing else works for you: Use one of the passionate adjectives every day for the next 2 weeks and see what happens…
