Life’s Curve Balls.

A wet tennis ball in mid-air.

It is not always easy to write a blog about life issues because you never know what people want. Sometimes a bit of advice is needed. Other times a laugh or two to cut out the serious stuff. So often it’s a hit and miss.

I decided to give you a bit of ‘real life’ and speak from the heart. It’s been a wild start to my year. As many things as have gone right, just as many have also gone wrong. Isn’t that what life is all about?

We often take things personally, me especially, so don’t feel alone. It’s something we tend to do when things are not going our way or the way we planned. I have had a few curve balls thrown at me in the last few weeks. The decision to let them either hit me in the face or to duck is entirely up to me. This does not mean the problem goes away, it just means that once it passes, you will get a good look at it. You will then know what is best and if you deal with it in the correct manner and hopefully make a good choice or decision. You will find a way to deal with your problem.

Like most people tend to do, I allowed one or two to hit me in the face and have had to find a way to recover from the effects. Making life altering decisions is no easy task, so I have had to gather the right information from the right places and people in order to make some life-altering decisions. The ultimate decision of which way to go and how to deal with my problems is still ultimately mine to make.

One thing I have found out for sure is, you need support from the people in your life who are there for you, no matter what. Without them, my life would be somewhat different and pretty lonely.   In fact, it would give life a whole new meaning.

So to everyone who has stood by me and been there for me, thank you. For the people in my life who need me, thank you for that too. It is really nice to be needed. Look after your lives and look after what makes your tick and take it one day at a time. Take a deep breath every now and then and find yourself a little space in which to move.

Find the things that make you happy and get out there. Don’t let anyone steal your thunder. You are awesome just the way you are!
