Do you ever sit and wonder why your life has turned out the way it has? Do you ever think that it may be all the decisions you made along the way that have landed you just where you are today? Sometimes in life, even the smallest decision or choice ultimately turns into some major new experience.
Each and every action has a reaction.
If you take a good look at your life and where you are right now you will notice that you have often gotten to a certain point where you have made the same decision or choice. Yet time and time again you feel tired and frustrated wondering why life is so unfair. Well, until you learn the lesson that has been sent more than once in your life and you don’t move from that place or stage the more it will pop up – because this is ultimately the lesson you have not yet learnt.
When we are presented time and time again with similar if not the same situation, it is almost in-built human nature to try and prove it wrong. I am sure you will agree, that although we already know this we still try our very best to prove the situation otherwise. Do you not agree that it would save so many emotions and unfortunate outcomes if we could just get it the first ____ times around?
We are all in relationships with various people. We all have that someone who either supports our every move or literally destroys everything we thought to be a good idea. Learning why we allow such people to interfere with our lives is sometimes beyond us, so we begin to feel guilty and helpless. Learning to take back control of the life that has been offered to you is one of the most important things you can do. It is a choice and a decision to make in itself.
Remember to be aware throughout your process, that not everyone may understand that you are working on these aspects of your life and they may become a bit defensive and difficult. This is where your emotional intelligence is important so that you continue to work on these things that have possibly held you back in the past.
Here are some questions that you can work through to help you decide if your life is where you want it to be:
Do you feel that you are where you want to be in your life right now?
What decisions do you remember making that lead you to where you are today?
Do you feel that you learnt from previous choices in your life? Which ones?
If you know that you made same or similar decisions or choices, what were they and how do you think they have effected you and life now?
Do you remember any instance in your life where this may have happened to you?
Do you have any idea of the lesson you are just not getting?
Do feel that you take responsibility for your own choices?
Who do you feel helps you make the right decisions and choices?
Do you have a good support structure?
Who has the power in your life to manipulate situations?
What will you need to do to get the outcome you are looking for?
